It’s a new year, and the tech industry’s biggest event of the year is already here: CES 2026. It’s the tech industry’s first major showcase of the year, and it’s prime time for brands to share what’s on the way and launch new products in every major category, from weird gadgets and gizmos to PCs, laptops, TVs, AI, and beyond. This year, we’ve already seen some futuristic new products on display, like LG’s ultra-thin Wallpaper TV, Samsung’s Galaxy Trifold smartphone, a wearable AI pin, and more.

With so many conceptual ideas and models at the event, it’s hard to know what the everyday consumer might actually be eager to buy. This is where we come in. As ZDNET’s shopping and advice editors, we’re the perfect pair of experts to funnel the best CES tech you can buy — or in most cases, preorder — right now.

With one of us on the ground in Las Vegas, and the other working remotely, we’re able to cover the best new gadgets to spend your money on, and any differences in between. Here’s a look at the most exciting ready-to-buy (or soon-to-be-buyable) CES 2026 products.

Our reviews editor Kerry Wan took a look at the latest TCL X11L TV, and he says it’s the model to beat at CES 2026 right now. TCL’s X11L targets color accuracy with Micro RGB and SQD Mini LED technology. It offers 20,000 dimming zones and 10,000 nits of premium brightness and contrast. And there is no lack of sound in it either. The Bang & Olufsen Soundbar and Google TV add major appeal to the attractive model. You can technically buy the X11L for a starting price of $6,000 for the 75-inch. The 85-inch and 98-inch models are available for $8,000 and $10,000, respectively. However, it appears that the 85-inch is the only model in stock at the time of publishing of this piece.

The C-200 is no ordinary chef’s knife: it vibrates 30,000 times per second, allowing it to cut through food more easily. You can’t feel the vibration, but ZDNET editor Sabrina Ortiz said it was much easier to chop vegetables when the vibration mode was on — and food was less likely to stick to the blade, making cleanup easier. You can preorder it now, which will be released in March, for $399.

Beauty tech is also present at this year’s CES event. iPolish lets you choose from over 400 nail polish colors at the touch of a button thanks to a unique set of acrylic nails that change color digitally.

Acrylic press-on nails connect to an app where you can choose from tons of colors. Simply place the tip of the nail inside a small stick device that resembles a small portable power bank, and the color changes almost instantly.

Leave the salon with a starter kit, starting at $95, and choose between acrylic shapes “Long Squowl” or “Medium Ballerina.” Replacement nail sets will cost $6, and while you can preorder the kit now, the Eyepolish won’t be available until June 2026, according to the brand’s website.

New technology is pretty sweet…especially when it’s literally built into the candy.

lollipop star From Lava Tech, there’s a lollipop that uses bone conduction technology to play songs from your mouth to your inner ear and is being showcased at CES 2026. It’s definitely a novelty experience, and managing editor Allison DeNisco Rayom had to test it out. “The representative at the booth directed us to take the lollipop to the back of our mouths and bite a bit with our molars to start the music. Even with earplugs it was quite quiet, but you could actually hear the song,” says Denisco Reom.

Right now, you can choose from three flavors like Akon, Ice Spice, and Armani White. It appears that Lollipop Stars will soon be available for $9 a pop (pun intended). The brand now has a special preorder page on its live site.
