While the Lumos AI Glasses weren’t unveiled at CES 2026, this was my first opportunity to go hands-on with them, and I was impressed with their design. Specifically, the swappable battery. One of the biggest challenges with AI glasses is their limited battery life, with even the most popular models typically only lasting 4-6 hours per charge.
Swappable batteries are a practical solution that other smartglass manufacturers should consider in the future. The Lumos AI Glasses also have a neckband power bank, which provides extra power when needed and the company claims that the battery supports up to 40 hours of standby time. Apart from that, the rest of the specifications are pretty solid, including a Qualcomm processor and a 16MP camera. – Sabrina Ortiz
