While the Samsung S95H OLED is the best TV at CES this year, I would personally buy it for two reasons that go beyond picture quality.
First, my current living room TV is installed next to the main windows, so I often draw my curtains to block out incoming sunlight, reducing glare and general light reflection. With Samsung’s glare-free display technology that does not reduce the overall brightness, color performance and contrast of content, watching movies and shows during the day will be more enjoyable.

Now, you may be asking, “Why not buy last year’s S95F, which has a similar (if not identical) glare-reducing panel type, at a lower price?” To that, I respond with flexibility in port selection.
I have various consoles, speakers, and other companion devices that I commonly connect to my TV, so the ability to swap between what’s available in the S95H’s on-board I/O and the optional Wireless One Connect box makes a big difference for me. If you’re in the same boat but are more patient, always wait until holiday sales events to buy a new TV. Always.
