Chris Payne’s description of the beehive’s workings: shared goals, decentralized decision-making, autonomous workers working for the collective good and, above all, honest communication as a model for a “very successful business” sounds akin to a socialist-inspired co-operative (Office Buzz: UK employers turn to beehives to boost workplace well-being, 8 February).

• Martin Rawson’s excellent article (I asked an AI to tell me my wife’s name. My deepest apologies to the people it quotes who are hopelessly mistaken, February 9) clearly demonstrates that current AI utopians are lying. The good thing is that this makes him the ideal candidate to lead many countries that come to mind.
