Infosys has agreed to a deal with AWS that aims to increase the use of generative AI internally and across its customer base.

The Indian consulting and digital services company will integrate its Topaz AI platform with Amazon Q Developer, AWS’s Generative AI-powered subsidiary, for clients across manufacturing, telecom, financial services and consumer goods, the companies said on Wednesday.

topaz It currently includes over 12,000 AI assets, over 150 pre-trained AI models, and 10 AI platforms. Infosys said it will use Topaz to promote AI-powered advancements in key areas, citing software development, human resources, recruiting, sales and vendor management as areas of focus.

The companies said in the release that the combination of tools will provide benefits such as automation of documentation and tailored support for code generation, debugging, testing and modernization of legacy code, improving workflow and providing greater productivity in the process by streamlining tasks.

“Infosys is setting a new benchmark for enterprise transformation by strategically adopting generative AI at scale,” said Sandeep Dutta, president of AWS for India and South Asia. “The combined strengths of Amazon Q and Infosys Topaz will help organizations drive innovation, achieve operational agility, and unlock differentiated value for their customers.”
