Lenovo is the latest tech company to be hit by the smart glasses bug. The company showed off a pair of concept AI glasses at CES 2026.
Although this wasn’t a working prototype, we have some idea where Lenovo’s heads are at. The lightweight frame weighs around 45 grams and has a 2MP camera just above the bridge of the nose. You can also see the telescope’s performance in our photos. A nearby spec sheet hints at both lenses having green monochrome displays – something we saw a lot of at last year’s show. It is also believed to have a 28-degree field of view, 1,500 nits of brightness, two microphones, two speakers, and a 214mAh battery.
Feature-wise, Lenovo says the glasses will have a mix of touch and voice controls, hands-free calling, music playback, and the ability to connect to a phone. Or PC. It’s quite rare for smart glasses to connect to a PC at the moment, especially for glasses with this type of display technology. Other details were scant, but Lenovo says live translation, intelligent image recognition, and the ability to get summarized notifications from multiple devices are also on the table.
It’s a somewhat bewildering mix of features and specifications. After all, the 2MP camera is not enough for photos and the Meta features a 12MP camera in its specs. It’s also unclear how Lenovo envisions connecting to a smartphone versus a PC, as most AI glasses are currently envisioned as on-the-go devices. But perhaps that’s why Lenovo intends to keep it a “concept” device for now.
