Targeting more vertical AI business applications is one way to increase AI adoption.

“The vertical approach is popular in the industry right now as you see it with AI agents and other applications of GenAI, vertical ai Companies have been most successful in terms of actual penetration and production use cases,” he said. “That’s simply because the problems are well understood. They’ve been around for a long time.”
open source Vikalp has also been successful in helping businesses use AI technology because of the flexibility it offers, Shukla further said.
“Open source models are very important throughout the AI community,” he said.
Because of the importance of open source and the need for flexibility, SymfonyAI is model-agnostic,
“We want to do our best for our customers and our vertical AI use cases,” Shukla said. He said that while closed-source models perform well on AI benchmarks, in many cases, open models that can be fine-tuned for the enterprise are beneficial.
He added, “In many cases, we see, especially recently, around logic models, that you can fine-tune domain-specific logic use cases.” “This enables a smaller model as well as a much larger model for those specific use cases in your domain.”
