Experts may debate how advanced AI tools are today, but one clear benefit for enterprises is how the technology can instantly equip employees with information that would otherwise take time to acquire.
For example, non-coders can develop code by inspiring AI systems with natural language using a technique called vibe coding. This concept has now expanded beyond coding to other types of business tasks. For example, an employee without legal training may use tools such as anthropic cloud peer To better understand a contract. In other words, employees are moving vibe coding to survive.
“One phenomenon that is happening is that as a non-expert, you can go into areas where you don’t have expertise – and before it was quite difficult,” said Abel Sanchez, research scientist and executive director. MIT’s Geospatial Data CenterOn the latest episode of Targeting AI. He said that because of Vibe Living, employees who understand how to use technology will have a competitive edge.
“It’s a power user,” Sanchez said. “It’s the human within AI. You will not be replaced by AI. You will be replaced by a human using AI. And I think that’s a winning combination.”
However, despite the success it has had, many believe that AI is not as advanced as experts think.
“Humans, we still have things that machines don’t have,” said John Williams, a professor of civil and environmental engineering at MIT. For example, he said AI is good deductive reasoningBut humans are good at integration and intuitive reasoning.
