To bring this vision to life, Atlassian created the Databricks Query Runner Agent, operated by Databricks AI/BI Genie APITo enable real-time, self-service analytics atlassian rovo.
The AI/BI Genie is an “engine inside” that enables anyone on the team, from product managers to marketers and support leaders, to query structured Databricks data by asking questions in plain English. It shifts data access from specialized experts to the entire organization, eliminating knowledge silos and delays.
Genie is important in our effort to democratize data access. This enables us to provide a powerful yet intuitive interface at Rovo where any team member can interrogate their Databricks environment. We’re also excited to work with Atlassian to launch the new Rovo Search connector for Databricks later this year, which will enable users to search and find Databricks tables and dashboards from within Rovo. In parallel, Databricks is working to onboard Atlassian Rovo MCP servers to the Databricks Marketplace, further broadening access to powerful analytics for enterprise customers.
