The rumored “HomePod with a screen” we’ve heard so much about was reportedly set to launch in 2025, and then again this spring, and now, according to the latest update, it’s on shelves this fall. Leaker Kosutami posted as very onx last weekand today, bloomberg Reporter Mark Gurman provides similar information, saying that its robot arm-equipped cousin is now planned to launch in 2027.
It should have been ready by now, but is now predicted to arrive later this year with the iPhone 18 Pro Plus 2027 update for iOS, macOS, and everyone else. He describes a silver aluminum-cased device with a 7-inch screen and a USB-C power port running on version 27 of tvOS, while new versions of the HomePod speaker and Apple TV 4K box are also awaiting that Siri update, and a smart home sensor is also in the works.
